Ruins Enthusiasts

There are “Ruins enthusiasts” and “Ruins geeks” in Japan. Ruins are buildings that have been dormant and not used for a long time.
Not only mined land and old military sites but also ruins in Wakayama which has become a model of “Laputa: Castle in the Sky” by Studio Ghibli is also popular. Ruins enthusiasts look at photo collection and obtain information on ruins from the internet. Old buildings have integrated with nature through the years, and it seems that they enjoy a unique world for spreading imagination.
