Dagashiya (Cheap Sweets Shop)

“Dagashiya” is a paradise-like shop for children in Japan.
It has been recently dropping out of business, probably because the birth rate is declining and the owners are aging. Usually their shops are small and many of them are with other businesses, like tobacco shops and general stores. There are many cheap snacks and toys lined up, so the children can choose what they want by themselves and take it to their owner to pay for it. Many children go there to buy snacks for their field trip.
