Smoking Cessation Encourage In Japan

Smoking cessation is progressing steadily in Japan.

There were many people who smoked in the train stations and even on the trains themselves a while ago. However, the stations and inside of the trains are smoke free. There are also many non-smoking restaurants today.

Our government encourages smoking cessation for health and raised the price of cigarettes.

Since non-smoking people also suffer damage by breathing second-hand smoke, a no smoking policy is progressing.

There seems to be a policy of smoking cessation even in pubs.

Smokers feel ashamed for reducing the place of smoking.

The food and beverage industries has raised their voices against it because they are losing their smoking customers.
