みうらじゅん氏、いとうせいこう氏がタイ仏像大使に就任

Jun Miura & Seiko Ito Became Thai Buddha Statue Ambassadors

Jun Miura, an illustrator and a person familiar with Japanese pop culture, and a writer named Seiko Ito both became Thai Buddha Statue Ambassadors.

Jun Miura is known for loving Buddha statues. He has his own program on TV and talks about it.

Both of them are familiar with Japanese pop culture.

They were invited as guests to “Celebrate 130 Years of Amity between Japan and Thailand
Thailand: The Brilliant Land of Buddha” at Thai embassy in Tokyo in February, and they were appointed as ambassadors to promote the exhibition.

「タイ仏像大使」になりました。
みうらじゅんさんは仏像好きで知られ、
テレビで自分の番組を持って仏像について語っています。
二人とも日本のポップカルチャーに詳しい人たちです。
二人は2月に東京のタイ王国大使館で開催された
「日タイ修好130周年記念特別展 タイ~仏の国の輝き~」にゲストとして招かれ、
展覧会をPRする大使に任命されました。
