Noodle Slurping: Manner Violation or Culture?

Japanese people make noises while eating noodles.

Foreigners often feel uncomfortable with it and it was argued if noodle slurping is a violation of manners or if it should be accepted as Japanese culture.

Not all Japanese slurp noodles.

Many people eat pasta as much as possible without making a sound.

Also there are many people who can eat well without spreading soup or messing up the face while having udon, soba and ramen noodles.

It will be difficult for foreigners who are not used to slurping.
