春の菜の花料理

Field Mustard Cooking in Spring

Field mustard lines up at the vegetable department in the spring.

It’s used as an ingredient for cooking before the flowers open.

Cut the root and eat the stems and flowers.

The easiest way of cooking it is by making “Ohitashi”.

Boil it with a seasoning like soy sauce and soup stock.

You can make “Karashiae” if mustard is added, the spicy stimulation is delicious.

In addition, it’s used for various dishes such as pickles, soup and pasta.

It has a little bitter and spring taste.

春になると野菜売り場には菜の花が並んでいます。
菜の花は花が開く前に料理の材料として使います。
根元を切り落として、茎や花の部分を食べます。
一番簡単なのは「おひたし」です。
ゆでて醤油やだし汁などの調味料につけます。
辛子を加えると「辛子和え」になり、
ピリッとした刺激が美味しいです。
他にも漬物やスープ、パスタなどのいろいろな料理に
使われます。
少し苦味のある、春の味わいです。
