A Unique Method for Japanese Cuisine “Sankakutabe”

Rice is the staple food of Japan.

Non-seasoned white cooked rice by rice cooker with side dishes, are common meals.

We eat them from childhood, We are disciplined to eat rice and side dishes alternately and have a well balance.

There are some children who eat side dishes first and then leave rice because there is no taste or they have a full stomach.

We teach such a child the method of “Sankakutabe”(triangular eating).

It is a way to eat rice, side dishes and miso soup alternately.

If it works, they can finish them all clean, however, it won’t work well if they are feeling sick or already having a habit of eating.
