春日大社「千年の至宝展」

“Eternal Treasures from Kasugataisha Shrine”

In the past, the capital of Japan was in Nara.

Kasugataisha shrine was built to pray for the peace of the nation and the prosperity of the people in the Nara period.

Exhibition “Eternal Treasures from Kasugataisha Shrine” has been held at the Tokyo National Museum until March and it’s exhibited valuable items that we cannot see usually.

Many art items are introduced such as armor and sword like weapons, guardian dogs, folding screens, etc.

Tourists from abroad come to see deer in the park in Nara Prefecture, and have increased currently.

You can see the folding screen that deer are drawn to this exhibition.

昔、日本の都は奈良にありました。
春日大社は奈良時代に国家の平安と国民の繁栄を
祈願するために建てられました。
東京国立博物館で3月まで開催されている
「春日大社 千年の至宝」展は
普段見ることのできない貴重な品を展示しています。
鎧、刀などの武器や狛犬、屏風など、
美術品が多数紹介されています。
現在、奈良は公園に鹿がいることで
海外からの観光客が増えています。
この展覧会では鹿が描かれた屏風も見ることができます。
