山口県のみかん鍋

Mikan-nabe in Yamaguchi Prefecture

There are many families that make “Japanese style hot pot” using meat, fish, vegetables, tofu etc., when it becomes cold in Japan.

There is seasoned pot added broth and seasonings, called “Mizutaki” which is a pot without any broth and seasoning but you dip it into sauce when eating.

There are unique hot pot dishes in all corners of the country, among them, “Mikan-nabe” in Yamaguchi Prefecture became a topic as it was unbelievable.

Baked mandarin oranges in the toaster is included, also with dumplings by mixing orange peels with ground meat and vegetables.

Since the sweetness of mandarin oranges are increased after being heated, it seems good to eat the mandarin oranges in the end as a dessert.

日本では寒くなると肉や魚、野菜、豆腐などを使った
「鍋料理」を作る家庭が多いです。
ダシや調味料を加えて味付けをした鍋や、
「水炊き」という味付けをしないで
食べる時にタレなどにつける鍋があります。
各地に独特の鍋料理がありますが、
中でも山口県の「みかん鍋」が衝撃だと話題になりました。
挽肉にみかんの皮を混ぜて団子にしたものや
野菜などと一緒に、トースターで焼いたみかんを入れます。
熱せられたみかんは甘みが増すので、
最後にデザートとしてみかんを食べるとよさそうです。
