晴明神社

Seimei Shrine

“Seimei Shrine” is located in Kyoto, it is the Shinto shrine which is dedicated to an Onmyoji(Yin-Yang master),”Seimei Abe” who was famous during the Heian period. Seimei Abe was a diviner who exorcised and told fortunes under the order of the Emperor. 
He was popular, had novels, comics, and even a movie about him.

This Japanese news writer of the Seimei Abe fan visited there recently. 
It was a quiet small Shinto shrine, where I can pray calmly. 
Good luck charms and amulets that protect you against bad luck are sold there. 

You can wish for various things like removing bad luck, romance, study, health and others.

京都にある「晴明神社」は、
平安時代に活躍した陰陽師の安倍晴明を
おまつりした神社です。

安倍晴明は実在した人物で、天皇の命を受けて
厄払いや占いをしていました。
今では小説や漫画、映画にもなり、人気があります。
安倍晴明ファンの筆者は先日、晴明神社を訪れました。
ひっそりと小さな神社で、静かにお参りしました。
厄よけの札やお守りが売られています。
厄落とし、縁結び、勉強、健康など、
いろいろなお願いをすることができます。
