About Manners In The Japanese Trains

Tourists to Japan from overseas seem to be often surprised that Japanese people are quietly sitting in the train.

Most people do not do things such as talking quietly, checking their cell phones silently or listening to music.

There are some annoying cases sometimes like a loud scene, eating something with strong smell, make up, etc.

There is also an announcement and advertisement about following public manners in the train.

Both inside of the train and station are smoke free.
