It Looks Like People with Tattoos Can Enter Hot Springs

People who have tattoos are often declined to enter hot springs or swimming pools in Japan.
This is for the beach as well.

The reason is because people think tattoo’s equal Yakuza, and people in Japan are afraid of them.

Recently, more young people are getting tattoos for fashion, and some tourists from foreign countries were declined to enter a hot spring because of their tattoo.

However, people have changed about their recognition, and grant entrance to people wearing tattoos.
