京都伝統工芸大学

Kyoto Dento Koge Daigakuko (TASK)

There is a school called “Kyoto Dento Koge Daigakuko (TASK)” in Kyoto.

There are 11 majors to learn for two to four years.
Even foreigners can enter the school if they are a qualified applicant.

Ceramic art
Buddhist Sculpture
Lacquer art
Metal craft
Stone Sculpure
Kyoto hand-painted Yuzen
Wood Sclupure
Bamboo art
Japanese paper art

Students learn craftsmanship majoring in each, and aim to be a writer or a creator.
80% of the class is training.

There are students who are teens to 60’s, who enter after graduating from university or after becoming a member of society.

京都に「京都伝統工芸大学校」という学校があります。
11の専攻があり、2年から4年かけて学びます。
条件を満たしていると外国人も入学ができます。

それぞれ、匠の技術を学び、作家やクリエイターを
目指します。
授業の8割は実習です。
生徒は10代から60代まで、大学を卒業してから入学する人、
社会人になってから入学する人もいます。
