Sudare / Yoshizu

There is a thing named “Sudare” or “Yoshizu” to spend Japanese hot summers feeling as cool as possible. It’s a sun shade like blind which is made of bamboo and the stems of a plant. It’s hung outside of a window and blocks solar light energy to prevent the rising of room temperature.
It also can be blindfolded to prevent peeking inside of a house from the outside. Not only is it natural material but also a UV cut effect one has become available recently. Taste will appear when it is used elegantly with things such as summer flowers or ivy.
